Poetry

Poetry is literary work in which special intensity is given to the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm.

Free form poetry gives the writer tremendous freedom to express their feelings in a way that prose never can.

This week, we are going to tackle poetry.

Poetry lets you break all the rules!

I wrote a lot of poetry when I was in prison. It helped me release all those emotions that were twisting and turning and keeping me awake at night.

There are no rules.

Sometimes the most power in a poem are
